Rising Community Leaders Program

The goal of our Rising Community Leaders (RCL) program is to equip emerging leaders with skills, toolsets and mentorships to engage in community building advocacy and projects. The Rising Community Leaders program serves people who are committed to social justice work and already engaged in some kind of community-building activity, specific to their location.

Our training, coaching, and curriculum is key to translating the learned experiences of our faculty and staff into models of transformation that can be utilized in any culture, community, or city.

Our goal in 2022 is to hold 2 training sessions with 20 individuals in each session and then provide ongoing mentorship over the course of the year.

The training will be offered through a combination of in-person and virtual learning. With the online format of the course in 2021, we were able to have individuals from all over the world participate in this training. We would like to continue this international reach.  2021 participants were from:

Minneapolis, MN
Kampala, Uganda
Eagan, MN
Bradenton, FL

Kibera, Kenya
Burnsville, MN
St. Paul, MN

Rochester, MN
Austin, TX
Farmington, MN

The next Rising Community Leaders program will be offered in March 2022.  If you are interested in more information or enrolling, please contact us.
